The film Bad Ass Women Doing Kick Ass Shit is an award-winning feature-length documentary that won Best Director in 2024 at the Cannes 7th Art Awards. Co-produced by Abie Ekenezar and A’Noelle Jackson, this compelling film spotlights at its center the unique experiences of Washington State Senator Mona Das and seven other BIPOC women as they ran for political office in the United States. Comprised of a series of authentic, personal conversations, this film shines a light on the daily lives and struggles these magnetic women faced during their individual campaigns.

Screening of documentary, Bad Ass Women Doing Kick Ass Shit (81 minutes), including  a Q&A with director and co-producer, Abie Ekenezar. Water and tea will be provided at the event.
