Down this Winding Road . . . 2017 Gala

October 14, 2017 @ 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Once upon a time, in an enchanted land not far away, there occurred a great and wondrous gathering.

It began in a wild wood—a magical wood, full of curious creatures, where marvelous things were known to occur. And into this wood wound a road, well-traveled by many who sought learning. Just a road, or so it seemed.

On this autumn night, however, something was different. The quarter moon loomed large, sending silver sparks through turning leaves and heavy boughs to the forest floor below. The quiet creatures of the night grew noisy, shaking beads of water like jewels from the ferns and mosses as they romped and frolicked on the leaf-strewn ground. They knew that something special was afoot.

Down this winding road, into the jubilation of the woodland, people came. Not two, not ten, but one hundred! They were as many as the acres of that forest, and they gathered with joy in their hearts—for they knew, as truly as the wild creatures knew, that this was a night for laughter and merriment, for celebration, and for the sheer exuberance of creating something wonderful together.

The people found themselves transported to a place of magic and enchantment . . . a Gala Fundraiser of legendary proportions.  It was truly a night to remember!
