CO-CREATING NEW NARRATIVES FOR A POWER SHIFTED WORLD

What does a world look like, where love and power are united in service of purpose?

In offering this program, we invite you: let us build a global community to explore this question and create new narratives. Let us envision and embody this world. Let us put our minds, hearts, and hands into service of people and planet, into service of wholeness, and into service of the human future on Earth.

Together with other members of an international cohort, you will explore ways to express new narratives in reality—through practical projects and initiatives, in your business, startup, or non-profit, or in any other organized way to which you feel called.

“Power without love is reckless and abusive and love without power is sentimental and anaemic”— Martin Luther King Jr.

For some decades now, it has become increasingly clear that our current ways of being human cannot be sustained. Humanity is on a quest for ways in which each and every one of us can live our lives in service to planet and people and in generative relationship with the greater whole.

One expression of that quest is the rapidly growing movement towards self-organization. Organizations have proven to be the most powerful force on the planet to influence the course of events. This power has brought progress. prosperity, and great achievements, and yet over time this power has become increasingly separated from love. It has become reckless and abusive, to the extent that humanity now faces issues of tremendous magnitude. In light of the myriad interconnected challenges we collectively face today, we know that simply improving the systems we have will not be enough. Fundamentally new solutions, coming from a new level of consciousness, are needed.

By shifting the way we organize our work in the world toward self-organization— the evolutionary principle of the universe—we can align with proven methods for navigating complexity in pursuit of purpose and open pathways toward a shift of consciousness. In self-organization, we act from a place of deep connectedness to the greater whole. This shift requires a developmental journey that starts deep within us and ripples out through connection and co-creation. In this way, together, we unite love and power in service of purpose.

COMPONENTS OF THE PROGRAM

On this guided learning journey, you will discover and develop the core capacities that are already within you—capacities necessary to thrive within self-organization. Personal development, embodiment, exploration, and connections await.

You will wonder: What is power? What is love? How can the unification of love and power express itself in my life?

You will deepen: What is the current expression of my personal purpose? How does it connect to my deepest sense of love? How can I embody it with my full authentic power?

You will connect:  With whom in the group do I feel most purpose aligned? To which deep need in the world do we want to contribute together? What is the transformation we want to be part of and enforce?

You will co-create: What do the world and life in general look like when love and power are united in service of purpose? What stories can I tell to inspire others who share my journey? How can what I’m learning be shared? How can I invite others to become part of these new narratives? Together, how can we create the widespread change we know is possible?

You will embody: How do I move from theory to practice? How do I embody what is needed now? How do I stay connected from moment to moment, with consciousness, awareness, and mindfulness?

You will innovate: How do I participate in a global community? How, together, do we source and nourish the transition into a life of united love and power, serving people and planet equally?

On this path you will reach a new depth of clarity about your personal relationship to power, to love, and to their unification and you’ll be supported in embodying your personal purpose in meaningful and fulfilling ways. You will explore promising pathways to do your unique work in the world, individually and in community, and you’ll have opportunities to work together with others on purposeful endeavours . . . some brought in at the start of the program, and others emerging throughout the course of your experience.

The curriculum of this program has emerged out of a decade of practical experience with self-organization, including a deep understanding of the needs and challenges that show up for people making this fundamental shift in ways of doing work together. The curriculum includes Systemic Constellation Work, Systemic Coaching, Archetypes (based on the works of Caroline Myss and Robert Ohotto), Social Presencing Theater (Arawnan Hayashi, Presencing Institute), STAGES (Terri O’Fallen), Language of Spaces, Voice Dialogue, Integral Theory, Meditation from different sources and wisdom traditions, and additional theories, practices, tools, resources, and modalities.

You will be participating in three 4-day in person retreats at the Whidbey Institute and in an ongoing, online shared learning experience with other cohort members and with Evolution at Work’s Love, Power and Purpose Facilitators.

THIS PROGRAM IS FOR YOU IF:

  • You are a founder/CEO considering or on the way to implementing self-organization in your company

  • Your work environment is planning, beginning, or has already implemented self-organizing practices

  • You are a coach and/or a consultant supporting people and companies on the journey of self-organization, and you want to learn more about the personal capacities and structures needed to fully embody the shift

  • You and others you work with are in a shared exploration of your organization’s potential to better serve the greater whole.
