Gala Transformed: Storytelling & Sensemaking

October 14, 2021

Thursday, October 14, 2021, from 5–6:30 pm Pacific Time

Join us for our second community fundraising event of the fall—this one online. As we enter our sixth decade, we’ll ask community members to share their favorite memory from the first 50 years of Chinook and the Whidbey Institute. Together we will look for the lessons these memories hold for us as we move into an ever-changing and unpredictable future.

After hearing some community members’ favorite memories, lessons learned, and hopes for the future, we’ll move into small groups where you will be invited to share your favorite memories and hopes.

We’ll also spotlight members of our program leader community discussing some compelling questions, such as:

  • How do we move forward when tomorrow is uncertain?
  • In the midst of challenge and change, where do we find hope?
  • What might our creative hearts, our caring communities, and our vital planet bring into being in 2022?

Watch for more information about our featured guests for this online community gathering and fundraiser in future emails, and register today to let us know you’re interested!

You’re also invited to Gala Transformed: Gratitude & Hope, an in-person event on September 25!
