We will come together in community for an inspiring update on Whidbey Institute status and activities, to join in appreciation of staff, program leaders, donors and community, and to support this transformative work that is changing lives. As a key part of the program, we will give gratitude to Jerry Millhon, as he prepares to shift his focus at the Institute to Thriving Communities Initiative leadership.
The evening festivities will include a limited number of select live auction items (preview them here), followed by a paddle raising frenzy. There will be great opportunities to take home a treasure while helping to further our deep purpose. We hope you’ll come ready to participate in the fun and give generously!
Funds raised through the Gala are vital to nourishing the organization, and will be well-spent. This is a time of celebration and emergence as we continue to build a vibrant and sustainable future. Donated income provides approximately half of the revenue that is needed to sustain the Institute – to support facility upkeep and improvements, land management, staff compensation, and infrastructure. The funds raised from the Gala will be of primary importance to our ability to support the great work of the Institute to thrive.
Thank you so much for being a key part of our flourishing ecosystem!
