We will come together in community for an evening of celebration and support for the Whidbey Institute. Join us in appreciation of staff, program leaders, donors, and community for their inspiring, powerful, and life-changing work. As a key part of the program, we will express our gratitude to two of our Whidbey Institute Senior Fellows, Larry Parks Daloz and Sharon Daloz Parks, for their formative and ongoing service to the organization.
The evening festivities will include a thoughtfully curated silent auction and a limited number of select live auction items, followed by a paddle raising frenzy. There will be great opportunities to take home a treasure while helping to further our deep purpose. We hope you’ll come ready to participate in the fun and give generously!
Funds raised through the Gala are vital to nourishing the organization, and will be well-spent. This is a time of celebration and emergence as we continue to build a vibrant and sustainable future. Donated income provides approximately half of the revenue that is needed to sustain the Institute – supporting our ability to provide community events and conference programming; staffing our work on behalf of thriving communities, empowered leaders, and vital ecosystems; caring for the Chinook land and buildings; providing scholarships for participants with financial need; and expanding access to our programs for more individuals and communities. The funds raised from the Gala will be of great importance in the continuing work of the Whidbey Institute.
Thank you for being a key part of this transformative work!
