POL II: Leadership in the Face of Fear and Uncertainty
The practice of the art of leadership requires the capacity to recognize and engage the power of fear and the possibilities within uncertainty—whether it is hidden or clearly visible. In today’s continually shifting landscape and complex “new” questions, fear can exact a sometimes subtle but always significant price in our organizations, our communities, our larger society, and our own inner sense of self. We will explore how to skillfully and compassionately recognize and respond to the many facets of fear and the vulnerability of uncertainty, and we will consider how to cultivate the kind of contemplative and collective courage that is integral to effective and meaningful leadership.
This event is open to graduates of the Powers of Leadership retreat series only.
We invite you to join colleagues from across the cohorts of Powers of Leadership for an engaging and meaningful experience that will nurture your spirit in these challenging times. Tuition, sliding scale $425 to $675, includes program, materials, and meals. Lodging is an additional $50+tax for the full session. This annual gathering provides rich opportunity for reflection, engagement, and ongoing learning.
