Celebrating our past three years and exploring our future. How will our community continue to Thrive?
Join together in an intimate gathering to celebrate the successes of three years of Thriving Communities work. We’ll gather from 1 pm to 9 pm, Wednesday, December 3, at the Whidbey Institute to learn, celebrate, and enjoy a harvest dinner together. Rhea Miller from the Lopez Community Land Trust will join us to explore what they, and we, are doing—and she’ll share from her upcoming TEDx presentation.
Look back on our successes in Health, Living Local Economy, and Local Food Systems . . . and look ahead to all the new ways we can thrive together.
The Whidbey Institute’s Thriving Communities Initiative is an organic, whole systems approach that connects and supports informal leaders across and within communities through community gatherings, video storytelling, conferences, and projects. We’re in this together, and we know that our own strength is deeply rooted in the health and vitality of our South Whidbey and Cascadian communities.
Full Session Registration $95 (1—9 pm); Evening Registration $45 (6—9 pm). Your registration fee helps support our 2015 work: Lens on Shelter, and includes a harvest dinner. Optional overnight lodging is available for $50 for those who wish to stay until the morning of December 4.
