“We come together at the Whidbey Institute because we need each other. The work of maturing ourselves, our structures, and the cultures into which we invite new generations is urgent and ongoing." —Heather Johnson

Trail Work Day Third Saturday in October

October 21, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

In October, we’re meeting on the third (rather than the second) Saturday of the month.  Join us October 14!

Join us for trail work days every second Saturday of the month, beginning May 13. We will work from 10 am to 12:30 or 1, then share lunch together. Soup and salad will be provided. Work will include pruning, clearing debris, re-grading trails, removing invasive species, and more. Work can be tailored to fit your skills, interests, and mobility to the extent possible. If you have them, please bring hand pruners, loppers, a pruning saw, and gloves. We have extras if needed. Also, be sure to wear protective footwear and sun protection, and bring plenty of water.
