“Part of the Whidbey Institute’s path is to help people find their own authentic center point, the place in themselves where they are able to be at ease, to be resilient, to be flexible, and to be at peace.” —Joel Shrut

Summer Volunteer Days

July 1 - July 3

Free

Second Annual Summer Volunteer Days

Join us for the duration, or for just a day or two!

Lodge at the Whidbey Institute at no cost (sign up for a minimum of two volunteer shifts per overnight stay, please).

Returning for a second year to our new tradition of summer time together on the land. This is a chance to work side-by-side in support of the spaces we love! This fun-filled time together will include morning and afternoon work parties each day with land and facilities care projects, plus long lunch breaks and leisurely fireside evenings. If you’ve longed for a chance to work and play on the Whidbey Institute land outside the structure of a workshop or conference, this is a great opportunity.

This free community event is recommended for adults of all ages, or mature teens with a parent or adult representative.
