Volunteer Week

July 5 - July 9

Free

Volunteer Week
Wednesday July 5 through Sunday July 9 at the Whidbey Institute
Join us all week, or for a day or two!

Lodge at the Whidbey Institute at no cost (sign up for a minimum of two volunteer shifts per overnight stay, please).

Introducing a new tradition of summer time together on the land and a chance to work side-by-side in support of the spaces we love! This fun-filled week will include morning and afternoon work parties each day with land and facilities care projects, plus long lunch breaks and leisurely fireside evenings! If you’ve longed for a chance to work and play on the Whidbey Institute land outside the structure of a workshop or conference, this is a great opportunity.

All are welcome, and pre-registrations are requested to help us plan and to reserve limited lodging space. We’ll follow up to complete your registration process later in June.

This free community event is recommended for adults of all ages, or mature teens with a parent. For kid-friendly opportunities on the land, please join us for Thursday Westgarden work parties and two upcoming Community Picnics on July 22 and October 15.
