Trail Work Days, every second Saturday

Join us for trail work days every second Saturday of the month, beginning May 13th. We will work from 10 am to 12:30 or 1 and then share lunch together. Soup and salad will be provided and volunteers are welcome to supplement anything else, potluck style.
Work will include pruning, clearing debris, re-grading trails, removing invasive species, and more. Work can be tailored to fit your skills, interests, and mobility to the extent possible. Our goals are to tend this beautiful forest as a community, to give our attention to its life and development, to learn together, to keep these public trails safe and accessible, and to enjoy ourselves in this place.
If you have them, please bring hand pruners, loppers, a pruning saw, and gloves. We have extras if you do not have these things. Also, be sure to wear protective footwear, sun protection, and bring plenty of water and a snack if needed.
