Meet our Team: Spotlight on Lynne

Lynne, our Housekeeping Manager, has been with us since 2009.

She and her team help care for the Institute’s guests, interior spaces, and flower beds. When she’s not at work, Lynne loves spending time with her two horses, Jack and Gambler, as well as her four dogs, her blue and gold macaw, and her Goffin’s cockatoo. She also enjoys the outdoors, going on frequent adventures with her husband Clayton (former Institute Facilities Manager) and their sons Cameron, 9, and Braden, 7.

Lynne has lived in both Washington and Idaho, and now makes her home on South Whidbey. She worked as a caregiver in a nursing home before coming to the Institute, and her care and attention to people and spaces is apparent in everything she does. When she’s not fishing, camping, or hiking with her family, she’s providing care to her pets, colleagues, and other clients. Trail riding and gardening also inspire her, but her number one passion is being a mom to her two sons.
